Merry Christmas 2024

2024 may just go down as one of the sweetest Christmas' we've ever had.  On Christmas eve my family, my mom, John and his brother, Steve, went to church together.  Afterwards everyone gathered at my house (except for mom) for dinner.  John flew in from FL on Dec. 23 and spent the week with us.  It was a pleasure having him here and it gave the boys a chance to reconnect with their grandfather.
On Christmas day everyone slept in and we had breakfast together.  Nick took John to his fab shop so he could show him where he works.  We opened presents together, just the five of us.  My sister and family and my mom and Steve too showed up in the early afternoon.  Mike made a delicious prime  rib (again).  We opened more presents, played games and just enjoyed being together.
My mom and her grands.  It's getting harder and harder for my mom but every year she is able to make it to my house for Christmas is a blessing.
Kim was so creative this year.  She likes to give them money but she also likes to make them work for it.
Rylan is Nick's girlfriend of six months.  She is a joy to have around.  And as we said to her yesterday, we have to love Nick but she chooses to love him.  Ha.
Mom, Jay and Nick at church on Xmas Eve.  It was our first Xmas eve in our "new" church.  Last year our new baby church was celebrating xmas eve at  hotel.

As I reflect on Christmas this year I am so thankful for all of God's provisions.  He has been so good to my family.  So many times during this season I reflected on God sending his only Son to save us.  It takes my breath away every time.  It's truly the greatest gift and love story of all time.
