What a week it's been! I have to many things to write about and update my blog about but first things first. Mike Ausili came back for a visit this week. It's his first visit since he left 3 years ago. Sadly the visit wasn't for pleasure, he came back to visit his sweet Nan who is not doing well. It was a spur of the moment trip. He booked a flight on Monday, June 28 and Sieb picked him up at the airport at midnight on Monday night. He was with us Tuesday and Wednesday and left on Thursday. We loved every second of his visit. It was just like old times. We laughed, we ate and Sieb and Mike drank whiskey together every night before bed. Nick was over the moon to see Mike! The picture of the three of was taken by me on Wednesday night. Mike got Sieb to take a walk - a miracle - so I had to document with a picture. Jenny and the kids were missed but we were thankful for our short but blessed visit with Mike. And Mike's Nan is holding her own. I am glad he was able to spend time with her.
