My friend, Jenny (middle) and I went to visit our good friend, Mary (left) this weekend. Mary lives in downtown Chicago and she spoiled us, as usual. We shopped in the pouring rain on Friday and went to dinner that night. We then just hung out in Mary's beautiful apartment that overlooks Navy Pier. We drank, watched Twilight (which I can't figure out what the attraction is to that series) and had lots of laughs!*And the picture at the top is the breakfast I had on Saturday morning. Mary treated us to breakfast for my birthday. It was the best breakfast I have ever had. Take a look at that french toast. Everything melted in your mouth. It was a little piece of heaven.
