Making a shot during practice. Jay's strength is stealing the ball and beating everyone down the court. He's still working on his shooting. One game he made a 3 pointer - it was a good night. I loved it because right after he shot it, his eyes got really big and when he realized what he did, his arms went straight up in the air.

Basketball
Our lives pretty much revolve around Basketball right now and I love it - seriously. It can be a little relentless at times but I really enjoy this group of boys, their parents and watching the boys play. Their season started in Nov. and just recently I've seen the boys take their teamwork to another level and it's working for them. They are starting to win some games and they are playing smart. Jay's skills have improved leaps and bounds. Yesterday we had an all day tournament. Between games the boys would get together with their electronic devices and play, play, play! Notice how I couldn't get them to smile at the camera.
At the beginning of the game they announced the boys' names - The picture above is of Jay running out onto the court. The woman in black is Erin, Jay's coach. Erin has been a great coach for Jay this year and he's really enjoyed being coached by a lady!
