As I've mentioned several times Nick is playing soccer this fall and it aint pretty. Nick is such a glass is half full kind of kid. He has such a sunny disposition and positive outlook but he truly just doesn't get the game of soccer. You know it's bad when you hear a majority of parents during the game yelling......"Nick, wrong way." Yes, my son continually makes goals for the other team!! So this morning this is how my conversation went with Nick.
Me: "Nick, when we get to your soccer game this morning I'll be sure to tell you where your goalie is so you know exactly where to kick the ball."
Nick: "Oh mom, stop living in the past."
